Got some HF mobiles
i got some mobile antennas with a radio i bought, just wondered if anyone had used or heard of anyone using vertical mobiles for 40 & 80 meters? obviously i will be on EC not ham bands so hopefully will be able to tune them to it
ones a Hustler with 2 top sections, 1 for 40m and the other for 80m, the other 2 antennas are Comet 14mhz & 21mhz

Good chance with the 40 -80m antennas for EC, they dont look very big

the 80m one is 9 foot total length and the 40m one is 8&1/2 foot total length, both end up center loaded. The 14mhz & 21mhz are longer than my antenna on the van for 27mhz, and also center loaded

I think they should work fine on 86 and 45m

the big white coils and whips screw into the top of the big long white base part for 40m and 80m, i had to stand on sofa to get pic
