Re: Active November 23rd pm all day 24th and 25th
Well a good weekend all in all.
Not much on the freeband though it has to be said. 11 metres was just about as dead as they come all weekend. Only a very small opening, which I was lucky to hear. I made contact with a few Italian stations in contest and one Spanish station, before the band dried up.
Did some Echo Charlie work on 86 m and 45 m, but even 45 metres didnt last too long on the Saturday and although they were longish QSO's, they were only into Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands. Nice chaps and a good long chat mind.
Most of the weekends radio was done on ham bands, 20 metres mostly with many contacts, the most interesting was Lithunia.
Got interested in SOTA on 2 metres, which looks like good fun, so might have a go at some of that.
Looking forward to next weekend now as I've wangled the whole weekend for radio again!

This is really frustrating, no prop on hardly any HF bands, even 2metres is really quiet
Oh well keep shouting and fiddling with knobs
